My First Holiday! Day Two

Day two I woke up and went to play in Jiji and Baba's room while Mum, Dad and my Uncle went to breakfast.
When they came back I played with Mum and Dad and admired the view. Dad was a bit hungover after drinking too much with Uncle Kekke!

We packed up and headed for Ise Grand Shrine 伊勢神宮. This shrine has a lot of history and it is a special place for Japanese people to visit, therefore making it very busy.

 There is a beautiful river running along the shrine grounds.

 Uncle Kekke carried me all morning, it was fun!!

 There are big wide gravel paths which wind through the forest to the shrine.

After the shrine we went and had lunch and did some shopping. The traditional like shopping area was very big with lots of souvenirs and yummy foods.

This shop was selling fish, and if you chose, he we giving away 1 fish per person, as a sample.

My First Holiday! Day One

We went for a long drive to Mie Prefecture. I enjoyed stopping at many service areas along the way, I sampled many different baby changing/feeding rooms! At Otsu we had a nice view of Lake Biwako.

Once we reached Mie Prefecture, our first stop was at Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks) near Toba. It was very windy so I was happy to have a quick look and then get inside for lunch and time to play with my Uncle.

We then headed for Toba Aquarium. Once inside, I was amazed to see the beautiful tropical fish tanks. I was very excited with all the different colours, these were my highlight of the day!

This Aquarium was made famous many years ago for having the first Dugong in Japan, I wasn't all that interested in the Dugong and showed more interest in the fish in the same tank.

The same went for the Capybara and the Sea Lions!

But I was happy to get back to the Tropical fish tanks for one last look and to pose for some photos.

We then headed for our hotel. Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean.

The hotel also had many different onsen bath houses, I went with Mum and Baba to take a bath on the sixth floor. Afterwards I watched the lucky adults eat a delicious looking dinner.

Crayfish is famous in this area, It was Daddy's first time to eat it raw, he said it was nice, I'll have to take his word for it!

New chair

Mum bought a chair for me.
I didn't know how to sit properly but I was enjoying it.

This chair has got a seat belt too, it's cool!!

Mum helped me to sit properly.
Yes, this is more confortable!! I really like it.

I'm looking forward to next year when I can go for a bike ride with my Dad.

Taking medicine

I've been sick for a week now.
I'm used to taking medicine with a spoon now!!

But I still don't like the taste of the medicine.

My best friend

This is my best friend, Glow-worm.
He's from New Zealand.

I can't help smiling when I see him, he makes me happy every time he lights up and plays my favorite tunes. He cheers me up even when I'm sad.
